The Fred Liuzzi Foundation Golf Day 2018 - The Metropolitan Golf Club

The Fred Liuzzi Foundation's 7th Annual Golf Day took place at the stunning Metropolitan Golf Club under the most perfect conditions imaginable. The course is just about to host the World Cup of golf and was in breathtaking condition. 

Whilst some teams purely attend to support the great work the Foundation is doing, others are very competitive and want their name on the trophy at all costs! Four teams shot 62 or better, but when the handicaps were applied some didn't even get a mention at the presentation. Well played to the two Alliance teams and the Berwick Mercedes teams that fell into this category. In second place with a nett 51.25 and the lowest gross score of the day (60) were the Air Systems team of Heath Symons, Andrew Walters, Simon Godfrey & Ryan Jacka. Our winners managed to separate themselves from the field by more than a shot when they finished with a nett 50.125. Congratulations to team Graphos - Thomas Psaltis, Arthur Hadj, Tony Sitch & Rob Swietzer. 

A number of on course events took place including the opportunity to win a Mercedes GLC43 for a hole in one on the 2nd hole - unfortunately it didn't go off, but special thanks to Mercedes Berwick for giving the players the opportunity. The nearest the pin on the 11th hole was won by Damon Brohask and longest drive on the 6th hole was taken out by Ryan Jacka.
