Lexus of Dubbo 2017 - Dubbo Golf Club

The Lexus of Dubbo Golf Invitational was again a highlight on the Lexus golfing calendar. Guests were able to view the yet to be released LC500h, have a shot a winning a Lexus CT200h for a hole-in-one and listen to some great stories in the life of Ken Sutcliffe over lunch.

The golf was closely fought with three teams within just over a shot of one another. In third place were the inconsistent team of Amanda Harris, Rhonda Lew, Brett Wrigley and Bernadette Reynolds who shot a great 63 that included two eagles, seven birdies and three bogeys, giving them a nett score of 52.875. The team of Grahame Allan, Debbie Murray, Todd Richards and Tracey Richards recorded the best score of the day (60) and after a slow start managed to go eight under in eight holes from the 5th to the 12th. However they couldn't finish it off, only recording two birdies in their last six holes to finish in second with nett 52.125. The eventual winners shot 62 and managed a clean score card with nine birdies and nine pars. Congratulations to Rosie Bartlett (26), Ian Collins (4), Bharat Pandya (18) & Rajal Pandya (36) who had a nett 51.5.

Four guests took part in the beginner golf lessons and the winner of the chipping competition was Jennifer McKay and the putting competition was Alan Payne.

The Lexus guests also managed to raise $1,285 for the Cancer Council via Ben Thompson's Dance for Cancer appeal. Thanks to all!
