Lexus of Chatswood Golf Invitational - Thursday 11th May 2017

The second of three Lexus of Chatswood Golf Invitationals took place under perfect conditions at the beautiful Terrey Hills Golf & Country Club. The guests were extremely keen to test their golf skills with more than 40 taking part in the early morning bunker clinic. 

In the end it came down to a race between three teams who all finished with 67 off the stick. After the handicaps were applied, only 0.75 of a shot separated them! In third place with a nett score of 56.5 was the team of Greg Clissold, Christopher Capell, Simon Clancy & Richard Hargrave, who shot out of the blocks to be four under through their first eight holes but then could only manage one under for their remaining ten holes. The team of Dennis Sinclair, Hamish Han, Susie McCarthy & Terry Brown had a steady round with five birdies and no bogeys but unfortunately couldn't birdie one of their final four holes to take the victory. The winning team were a little more erratic with five birdies, two bogeys and an eagle! Congratulations to Timothy Wills, David Wills, Anthony Preston & Katrina Bartroff. 

There was a car on offer for a hole in one on the 15th and the opportunity to go into the draw for a full set of Titleist golf clubs if you hit it inside 1m on the 4th. But unfortunately none of the guests managed to hit it close enough. 

Almost $3,000 was raised for Tour de Cure throughout the course of the day - thank you to all those who donated.
