ANZ 2019 Melbourne Golf Day - The Metropolitan Golf Club
The ANZ Melbourne Golf Day took place at The Metropolitan Golf Club with chilly and windy conditions greeting the guests. A wonderful crowd was on hand and as the weather improved throughout the afternoon, so did the scores on course.
Both the winners and the runners up shot the best score of the day, a fantastic 63. The runners up started with a flurry to be seven under par through their first nine holes. This slowed a little on their final nine holes, but they did eventually get to ten under par until an untimely bogey on their last hole cost them the victory. Well done to Timothy Bryant, David Johnson, Andrew Jansen & Sam Aliano who finished with nett 55.5. In stark contrast to how the runners up finished, the winners managed a birdie on their final hole - together with another eight throughout the round - to take the victory with nett 54.75. Congratulations to Thibault Behan (21), Ed Collis ((14), Jeff Dart (17) & Paul White (14).
