2025 Lexus of Canberra Golf Invitational - Royal Canberra Golf Club

The Lexus of Canberra Golf Invitational was held at Royal Canberra Golf Club under perfect conditions. The Brindabella course was in play and scoring was at record levels with three teams shooting 61!

In the end, it was very tight between second and third with just 0.37 of a shot separating them. The third placed team of Stefan Ivetic, Steven Kaddour, Sinisha Stankov & Dimitri Stramaros had a steady start to be one under after four holes. But when their remaining holes included eight birdies and a hole in one on the charity hole, they would quickly move up the leaderboard to finish with nett 53.62. The runners up were sitting at four under par after thirteen holes and well back from any prize consideration, but that all changed when they birdied their last five holes to record nett 53.25. Well played, Nikolas Milic, Matthew Mikic, Troy Piper & John Piper. In contrast to the other place getters, the winners had an amazing start with six birdies in their first seven holes. Things then slowed down with only two birdies in their next seven holes before the timely charity hole allowed them to purchase a hole in one and finish the round with 61 and nett 52. The opportunity to go to the Lexus Melbourne Cup and play The Royal Melbourne Golf Club was drawn at the end of the day and Bob Harbin was the lucky winner. Bob will have the opportunity to attend LANDMARK by Lexus for the running of the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
