2024 Lexus of Wodonga Golf Invitational - Commercial Golf Club, Albury
The Lexus of Wodonga Golf Invitational was held at the Commercial Golf Club, Albury under beautiful conditions that would mean good scoring would be the order of the day. We managed to have a 100% turn out which was a fantastic result.
In the end, just over a shot separated the the top two teams. The third placed team of Shaun Graef, Rohan O'Neill, Caron Stiler & Daniel Stiler were one over the card midway through the round, before a couple of late birdies meant they could sneak into third place with nett 56.62. The runners up shot the lowest score of the day, a 64, but it wasn't all smooth sailing and they were actually one over par after four holes. Seven birdies over their remaining holes would allow them to move up the leaderboard and finish with nett 55.5. Well played, Howard Sharp, Peter Capp, John Barfoot & Noah Wilson. The eventual winners were in an even worse position that second and third, when they were two over par after four holes. With only six holes to play they were middle of the pack at even par, but then four birdies in a row would rocket them into first place with nett 54.37. Congratulations, Timothy Clarke (11), Julie Clarke (36), Jeremy Lee (20) & David Lawn (26). For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.
