2024 Lexus of Parramatta Golf Invitational - Pennant Hills - Tuesday

The Lexus Parramatta Golf Invitational was held at the beautiful Pennant Hills Golf Club under perfect conditions. After the previous Parramatta event was won with the best score of the year, it would be interesting to see how today's guests would fare.

The third placed team of Crystal Kaing, Ceres Kaing, Mark Peng & Anthony Peduto were off to the worst start possible with a bogey on their first hole of the day. This was to be their last bogey and with the addition of five birdies they were able to scrape into third place with nett 53.62. The runners up also had a rocky start with a par and bogey in their first two holes and after seven holes they were middle of the field at even par. Thankfully for them, five birdies and an eagle would shoot them up the leaderboard into second place with nett 53.37. Well played, Tracy Steyn, Tina Choi, Peter McKinnon & Anton Greyling. The winners were one of the few three-ball teams on the day and managed a great round of 62. Like the other teams on the podium, they also had a bogey early in their round, but six birdies and two eagles (one thanks to golf pro Nikki) meant they would take out the win by almost two shots with nett 51.67. The on course charity event raised $5,170 for the St Gabriel's School & another $550 was raised via the auction of the spare golf bag - thanks to all who supported. Geraldine was on the 1st hole with Flightscope - for a collection of swings, please see the video below:

The opportunity to go to the Lexus Melbourne Cup and play The Royal Melbourne Golf Club was drawn at the end of the day and Anthony Saab was the lucky winner. Anthony will have the opportunity to attend LANDMARK by Lexus for the running of the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
