2023 Lexus Central Coast Golf Invitational - Kooindah Waters Golf Club

The Lexus of Central Coast Golf Invitational was held at the beautiful Kooindah Waters Golf Club under perfect conditions. The course was in great shape after the recent dry weather and low scores would be the order of the day

One team had an incredible round of 60 and if it wasn't for their low handicap, they would have ran away with the victory. In the end, it was just half a shot that separated the top two teams. The third placed team of Sanjeev Mehta, Grahame Muller, Stewart Scoon & Dane Thatcher had an indifferent start and were one over par after four holes. Thankfully for them, seven birdies would follow in quick succession, before a bogey on their last hole would relegate them to third place with nett 55.75. The runners up were off to a strong start with three birdies in their first four holes. Unfortunately for them, they couldn't keep that momentum up and only managed another three birdies for the rest of the round and a lone bogey on the tough 18th to finish with nett 54.12. Well played, Tony Pagliaro, Ross Pattern, Peter Lulic & Millie Lulic. The winners (despite shooting 6), did not get off to the best start and had a birdie, a bogey and two pars in their first four holes. Everything then changed when they went on an incredible run of golf to play the next six holes in eight under par. That momentum didn't stop, but with their low handicaps, they still had to birdie their last hole to take out the victory with 53.62. Congratulations Paul Buffey (21), Michael Sissons (10), Dave Hennessy (0) & Graeme Dell (20). For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.
