2026 Sydney City Lexus Golf Invitational - The Lakes Golf Club - March

The Sydney City Lexus Golf Invitational took place at The Lakes Golf Club under gloomy skies, but thankfully the guests played the entire round without the need of an umbrella! In the end, it was actually a beautiful day to play golf, with very little wind meaning teams would require great scores to feature.

The third placed team of Dennis Brewer, Anne Maree Brewer, Angie Squires & Hugh Martin had a very mixed round with four bogeys, three birdies, two eagles and a hole in one on the charity hole. All of this was enough to have them finish with nett 53.75 and sneak into third place. The runners up were just 0.63 ahead with nett 53.12 and after a birdie, birdie start, they must have been full of confidence. When two more birdies and two eagles were added, they had shot up to the top of the leaderboard, but two untimely bogeys meant they would have to settle for second place. Well played, Louise Geoghegan, Kath Dryes, Robert Fryer & Ken Glover. The winners were shuffled together when we had a few last minute drop outs and needless to say, they took full advantage shooting the lowest score of the day by four shots. But with three holes to play they were seven under par and still in need of a strong finish. Well, that is exactly what they got with three birdies in a row to take out the win with nett 50.83. Congratulations Daniel Chay (9), Matthew Serrao (25) & Chris Serrao (27). For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.

The on course charity event raised just over $5,500 for the Sydney Children's Hospital and when this was matched by Sydney City Lexus, it took the toal beyond $11,000 - thanks to all who contributed! Flightscope was on the 14th hole - for a collection of swings, please see the video below:
