2026 Lexus of Perth Golf Invitational - Joondalup Resort

The Lexus of Perth Golf Invitational was staged at the spectacular Joondalup Resort, where ideal conditions set the scene for some outstanding scoring. Ultimately, it was one of the three-ball teams who rose to the top, producing a superb winning total to finish more than two shots clear of the field.

Claiming third place were Michelle Ng, Joseph Ng, Susan Teo & Andrew Hewitt, who got off to a flying start with five birdies through their opening eight holes. A costly bogey briefly halted their momentum, but they responded well, adding three more birdies on the way home to sign for a nett 52.5.

Just half a shot ahead in second place on nett 52 were Vic Ristovichis, William Fitzsimons, Shiralee McCracken & Ann Valenti. After a steady opening featuring a single birdie in their first four holes, their round came to life with a brilliant eagle on the demanding par-5 4th hole on the Quarry course. That proved the catalyst for a strong run, as they piled on eight birdies over the next ten holes, falling just short of victory.

The eventual winners were a team formed at the last minute following a number of late withdrawals, and they made a mixed start with a par, birdie and bogey across their opening three holes. From there, however, they found their rhythm—back-to-back birdies were followed by a remarkable personal albatross from Brendon Fernandez on the par-5 9th hole on the Dune course, putting them firmly in control. They powered through their final ten holes in seven-under par, including three closing birdies, to secure a convincing win by more than two shots with a nett 49.83. Congratulations to Brendon Fernandez (17), Shelley Banner (29) & John Wood (15) on a deserved victory.

The opportunity to go to the Lexus Melbourne Cup was drawn at the end of the day and Linton Partington was the lucky winner. Linton will have the opportunity to play Royal Melbourne Golf Club and attend LANDMARK by Lexus for the running of the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
