2026 Lexus of Parramatta Golf Invitational - Concord Golf Club - 24th Sept
The Lexus of Parramatta Golf Invitational was held at Concord Golf Club, where the course was presented in outstanding condition. The early cloud cover soon cleared to reveal perfect golfing conditions and the players certainly made the most of them, with one team producing an incredible score of 60!
Claiming third place were Patricia Tsui, Tom Koo, Jung Hwan Suh & Ria Jang with a nett 56. Their round got off to a quiet start, with just one birdie in their opening seven holes. But the team quickly found their rhythm, rattling off four birdies in the next six holes to rocket up the leaderboard. Five straight pars to finish were enough to secure third place, but they would need to find a few more birdies to challenge for the top spots.
Just 0.33 of a shot separated them from the three-ball runners-up, Hilangwa Maimbo, Shane Zhou & Michael Ly, who posted a nett 55.67. After eleven holes, they were sitting at even par and well outside the podium places, with a top-three finish looking unlikely. But they saved their best for last, producing a sensational five-under-par finish over their final six holes to charge through the field and snatch second place.
Taking out the win by more than two shots with an outstanding nett 52.75 were Joe Issac (8), Joseph Karam (4), Alistair Jones (19) & Peter Sandy (24). Their final score of 60 was an incredible five shots better than the next-best gross score and featured an impressive seven birdies, an eagle and, to top it all off, a lucky hole-in-one guess on the charity hole. With scoring like that, there was little the chasing teams could do as they powered to a convincing victory.

The on-course charity challenge was once again a fantastic success, raising $5,300 for the St Gabriel's School. Thank you to everyone who generously contributed and helped support such a worthwhile cause.

The opportunity to go to the Lexus Melbourne Cup was drawn at the end of the day and Graeme Hennessy was the lucky winner. Graeme will have the chance to play Royal Melbourne Golf Club and then join other guests at LANDMARK by Lexus for the running of the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
