2026 Lexus of Indooroopilly Golf Invitational - Links Hope Island

The Lexus of Indooroopilly Golf Invitational returned to its traditional home at Links Hope Island Golf Club, where the course was once again presented in outstanding condition. Scoring was exceptional, with the top two teams recording the lowest scores of the year!

Claiming third place were Lyn McErlean, Michael McErlean, Andrew Wykes & Rodney Baldock. After opening with two pars, they slipped with a bogey on their third hole, but quickly put that behind them by playing their next nine holes in an impressive six under par. This charge saw them climb the leaderboard, but they could only manage one under par over their final six holes, leaving them to settle for third place with a nett 54.37.

The top two teams completely separated themselves from the field, finishing more than five shots clear of third place and both posting scores under 49. Our unlucky runners-up were Caroline Moniz, Shayne Moniz, Morgan Kent & Pat Carrol, who finished with a remarkable nett 48.75. Their round got off to a flying start with a birdie and an eagle on their opening two holes. They went on to record an extraordinary four eagles, seven birdies and seven pars — an incredible display of golf!

Taking out the title by just 0.25 of a shot with an outstanding nett 48.50 were James Nguyen (9), Gia Dang (10), Ping Liu (22) & Guan Lim (27). A birdie and a par on their opening two holes gave little indication of what was to come. They then exploded into action, recording six birdies over the next seven holes before a couple of pars briefly slowed their momentum. With six holes remaining, they needed a strong finish to secure the title — and they delivered in spectacular fashion, adding two eagles and three birdies to claim the win by the narrowest of margins.
