2026 Lexus of Canberra Golf Invitational - Royal Canberra

The Lexus of Canberra Golf Invitational took place at the beautiful Royal Canberra Golf Club. The weather did its part after some early morning showers cleared to a beautiful day, offering the guests perfect conditions to experience amazing.

The third placed team of Arnold Kluck, Don Furner, Jason Mathie & Henry Posch were off to a spectacular start with an eagle on their first hole. The charity hole came along soon after and after their generosity, they would find themselves four under par after just three holes. Things understandably slowed down a little, but with five birdies added to the card on their remaining holes, they were able to finish in third place with nett 53.5. The runners up were just 0.25 ahead with nett 53.25. After a steady start to be one under after three holes, they went on a birdie streak with an incredible ten birdies in a row! With five holes to play, the victory was in sight, but when they could only muster one more birdie, they would have to settle for second. Well played, Grant McGavin, Ian Hansen, Scott Clark & Andrew Smith. The winners started with a par and then decided to get their round started with a donation on the charity hole that lead to a hole in one. This clearly sparked the team as they then had eight consecutive birdies and despite only recording two birdies on the final eight holes, they would still manage to take out the victory by more than two shots with nett 51. Congratulations Michael Tallis, Darrin Borthwick, Johnnie Bodrozic & Mate Bodrozic. For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.
