2026 Lexus of Maroochydore Golf Invitational - Noosa Springs
The Lexus of Maroochydore Golf Invitational was held at the magnificent Noosa Springs Golf Club, where perfect conditions set the stage for some outstanding scoring. The standard of play was exceptionally high, with the winning team finishing more than four shots clear of the rest of the field.
Claiming third place were John Elks, Judy Elks, Rob Ingham and Jenny Ingham. Their round began in challenging fashion, recording no birdies and a bogey across their opening seven holes. A successful effort on the charity hole provided a much-needed boost, and they finished their round in impressive style with three consecutive birdies. Their late charge saw them post a nett 56.5, narrowly missing second place by just 0.25 of a shot.
Runners-up with a nett 56.25 were Anne Stephenson, Merran Dobson, Mark Vale and Craig McConaghy. After carding two bogeys in their first four holes, a podium finish seemed unlikely. However, the charity hole once again proved pivotal, helping spark a turnaround that included three birdies and propelled the team into contention. Their strong finish secured second place by the slimmest of margins.
The winning team wasted no time asserting themselves, reaching three-under-par through their opening four holes. While a bogey a few holes later briefly interrupted their momentum, the response was emphatic. They proceeded to play the next six holes in six-under-par, opening up a commanding lead over the field. Even a relatively subdued finish of one-under-par over their final five holes was more than enough to seal victory with an outstanding nett 51.5. Congratulations to Tracy Quin (29), Matthew Quin (17), Wendy Town (28) and Stuart Culley (18) on a dominant and thoroughly deserved win.
