2026 Lexus of Brighton Golf Invitational - Victoria Golf Club

The Lexus of Brighton Golf Invitational was held at Victoria Golf Club, which was presented in outstanding condition. The day began perfectly before, seemingly out of nowhere, a thick fog rolled in. Thankfully, it did little to dampen the scoring, with the calm conditions proving ideal for birdie marking. That was reflected in the results, with six teams recording scores of 64 or better.

Claiming third place with a nett 54.37 were Chris Tanti, Cooper Tanti, Ian Wilson and Brendan Woods, who recorded the lowest score of the day, a fantastic 60. They came flying out of the blocks and, after just eight holes, were already sitting eight under par, leaving the other teams wondering how they could possibly keep pace. Four more birdies over the next seven holes only strengthened their position, and victory looked theirs for the taking. However, three pars to close out their round saw them slip to third place in a remarkably tight finish.

Finishing just 0.25 of a shot ahead were runners-up Chris Faulkner, Jacinta Fish, Luke Gervasi and Wendy Gervasi with a nett 54.12. They made a blistering start with birdies on each of their opening four holes, before four consecutive pars brought them back to earth. Two more birdies followed, but their momentum soon slowed with a run of pars and a costly bogey. With four holes remaining, a strong finish could have secured the title, but despite adding two more birdies, they ultimately fell just over a shot short of the winning score.

Taking out the Lexus of Brighton Golf Invitational in spectacular fashion were Dean Bryant (6), Tony Bryant (10), Paul Diviny (24) and Harris Diviny (24) with an outstanding nett 53. Their round got off to a less-than-ideal start, with a bogey and three pars in their opening four holes. However, an eagle on their fifth hole provided the spark they needed, and from there, they were virtually unstoppable. Playing their next 12 holes in an incredible ten under par, they produced a remarkable finish that left the chasing pack with little chance of catching them. It was a dominant performance that secured a well-deserved victory.
