2026 HLB Mann Judd Golf Day - Concord Golf Club

The 33rd Annual HLB Mann Judd Golf Day was held at Concord Golf Club under threatening skies but all in all, the guests would consider themselves lucky to have played as many holes as they did without requiring an umbrella. The soft conditions made the course longer than usual and that was reflected in the scoring with the winning score more than a shot higher than last year.

In third place with nett 57.5 were Alex King, Steve Beland, Kevin Mitchell & Sam Willis, who were even par after five holes before they found form with three quick birdies. Unfortunately for them, this was short lived and they played their final eight holes in even par, meaning they would have to settle for third. More than two shots ahead with nett 55.25 were the runners up of Andrew Langham, Samuel Mullavey, Jason Rochaix & Brian Fox. They had a steady start and were three under through thirteen holes, but a strong finish would be required if they were to feature on the podium. At a time when teams were struggling with the rain, they played some of their best golf with three straight birdies, but two pars to finish kept them out of top spot by just 0.75 of a shot. The winning team shot the equal lowest score of the day - a 65. Their round consisted of seven birdies in their first fourteen holes and they even had the luxury of a bogey on their second last hole to still take out the win with nett 54.5.
