2025 Publicis Lions Golf Day - The Australian Golf Club

The Publicis Lions golf day was held at The Australian Golf Club on a perfect day. Guests were thrilled to be playing the iconic venue and with everything in the player's favour, good scores would be on the cards.

The third placed team of Patrick Rowe, James Walmsley, Chloe Sun & Kathryn Illy started strongly with birdies on their first two holes and added another four to be six under par after twelves holes and in the hunt for the victory. Unfortunately for them, they were not able to add any more birdies and, in fact, they recorded two bogeys to drop them down to third place with nett 56.25 - just 0.13 short of second place! The runners up were quick out of the box with five birdies in their first seven holes, but like the third placed team they were unable to finish it off and played their last eleven holes in even par to finish with nett 56.12. Well played, Davy Rennie, Chris Brown, Sarah Heitkamp & Scott Melhuish. The winners had the lowest score of the day, a 63, but they didn't have it all their way with a birdie, par, bogey start to their round. Four birdies in the next five holes soon moved them to the top of the leader board. With two holes to play they were still on top but they needed the birdie, birdie finish to secure the win with nett 54.25. Congratulations Ian Mayer, Tony Hindle, Nat Harvey & Bonnie Boezeman.
