2025 Lexus of Springwood Golf Invitational - Links Hope Island
The Lexus of Springwood Golf Invitational was held at Links Hope Island and after a false start due to the weather some weeks ago, guests were treated to a beautiful day.
The third place team of Paul Langham, Deb Langham, David Crosswell & Victor Roy recorded a couple of pars to start and then had five straight birdies to rocket up the leader board. This all came to a halt when they bogeyed their next hole, before they found their form again with four more birdies to have the win in sight. With two holes to go a strong finish would give them the win, but a bogey and par would relegate them to third. The second placed team of Andrea Smith, Joel Smith, Ed Chandra & Grace Chandra had a great start and were four under par after seven holes. Things slowed up a bit and over the next eight holes before a couple of timely birdies on their last three holes snuck them into second with nett 53.37. The winners were just 0.12 ahead of second place with nett 53.25. The team had a fantastic start with an eagle and two birdies in their first five holes. They could only muster one birdie in their next eleven holes before a birdie, birdie finish elevated them to top place. Congratulations Tony Whittred (15), Jeff Kaus (25), Sorenson Yong (27) & Neill Turner-Dauncey (27). For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.
