2025 Lexus of Perth Golf Invitational - Joondalup Resort

The Lexus Perth Golf Invitational was held at Joondalup Resort under perfect conditions. Some challenging pin placements didn't do anything to stop some fantastic scores and for the first time in Lexus golf history, the top three teams had to be separated by a count back.

The third placed team of Vic Ristovichis, Colin Woodcock, Susan Teo & Andrew Hewitt were off to the best start possible with an eagle on their first hole of the day. Three steadying pars would follow before they again found their mojo with nine birdies on their closing fourteen holes to finish with an equal best 61 and nett 52.5. Sneaking ahead on a count back was the team of David Jeary, Duncan Cameron, John Wood & Phillip Smith who also finished with 61. However, their start was a little slower and they were only two under par after eight holes. An eagle on their ninth hole sparked a great finish with five birdies and another eagle on their final seven holes. Still, this was not enough to topple our eventual winners who also had nett 52.5. The winners were off to a hot start to be six under after six holes. Things slowed down, but they were able to add another four birdies to their card and finish with 62, but with their higher handicap and a seven under back nine, they were able to take out the win. The opportunity to go to the Lexus Melbourne Cup and play The Royal Melbourne Golf Club was drawn at the end of the day and Craig Hicks was the lucky winner. Craig will have the opportunity to attend LANDMARK by Lexus for the running of the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
