2025 Lexus of Parramatta Golf Invitational - Concord Golf Club - 29th Sept

After two false starts with the terrible weather in August, the Lexus Parramatta Golf Invitational was eventually held at a new venue, Concord Golf Club. The course had recovered well and with the perfect conditions, low scores would be the order of the day.

The third placed team of Seemab Akbar, Damian Crangle, Azza Akbar & Suruj Maharaj had the lowest score of the day, an incredible 60, but with their low handicaps it wasn't quite enough. Their round got off to a great start with four straight birdies, they then played the next seven holes in two under par which no doubt cost them the win. They found their groove again with four late birdies but would have to settle for third with nett 54.62. The runners up were just 0.25 ahead with nett 54.37 and looked no chance of a podium finish when they were even par after eleven holes. That all changed when they made five birdies in their finishing holes to leapfrog a number of teams into second place. Well played, Paul Chong, Oscar Jeon, Joon Hee Jeon & Seung Up Jeon. The winners started with three pars and then caught fire, playing the next six holes in seven under par. They would end up making pars on their remaining holes, but enough had already been done to take out the win by less than a shot with nett 53.62. Congratulations Paul Meyer (5), Kate Meyer (29), Robert Brown (21) & Diane Brown (36). For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.
