2025 Lexus of Parramatta Golf Invitational - Concord Golf Club - 7th August
The Lexus Parramatta Golf Invitational was held at a new venue, Concord Golf Club and despite the rain leading up to the event, the course played surprisingly well.
The third placed team of Jangham Kim, Chanwook Choi, Roy Anh & Jin Young Ban were slow out of the blocks and after eleven holes had only recorded one birdie. Something must have clicked because they then went on to record five birdies and an eagle in their last seven holes to finish with nett 56.87. The runners up were just 0.12 ahead with nett 56.75 and like the third placed team had a slow start with four straight pars. That all changed when they played the next four holes in four under par to move quickly up the leaderboard. Unfortunately for them, they could not muster any more birdies on the way home and would have to settle for second place. Well played, Crystal Kaing, Ceres Kaing, Ray Wehbe & Peter Calopedis. In contrast to the other podium finishes, the winning team were off to a great start with three birdies in their first five holes. When they added another four birdies for the remaining holes, it would mean a convincing win by three shots with nett 53.75. Congratulations Ester Park, Soon Kwon Rhee, Eunjung Lee & Kwang Ho Lee.
