2025 Lexus of Brighton Golf Invitational - Yarra Yarra Golf Club

The Lexus of Brighton Golf Invitational was held at a new venue, Yarra Yarra Golf Club. With the course in great condition and the greens firm and fast, the guests would be thankful that the weather gods were also on our side.

The third placed team of Ross Webster, Dion Nugara, Kerryn Lowe & Jasmine Rosengarten had a tough start with bogeys at their first two holes. However, they were one of the highest handicapped teams on course, so when they recorded three birdies, they managed to work their way up the leaderboard into third place on a count back with nett 57.25. The runners up, in contrast, had a great start and were six under par after fourteen holes. Unfortunately, they couldn't keep a clean card and made a bogey on one of their remaining holes. That said, they had done enough to sneak into second place by less than a shot with nett 56.87. Well played, Ryan Johnston, Glen Johnston, Marianne Fox & David Keane. The winners were off to a hot start with birdies on their first three holes. This superb golf didn't let up for the entire round and in all they recorded twelve birdies throughout the day and went on to win by a record margin of over six shots with nett 50! The on course charity event raised in excess of $6,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation - thanks to all who contributed and special thanks to Tracy for hosting the hole and sharing her story! The opportunity to go to the Lexus Melbourne Cup and play The Royal Melbourne Golf Club was drawn at the end of the day and Sunny Huang was the lucky winner. Sunny will have the opportunity to attend LANDMARK by Lexus for the running of the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
