2025 Lexus of Central Coast Golf Invitational - Kooindah Waters

The Lexus Central Coast Golf Invitational was held at Kooindah Waters and guests were treated to beautiful conditions all round. The course had hosted the Pro Am just two days prior and with everything in the player's favour, good scores would be on the cards.

The third placed team of Dave Manson, Danny Cain, Gai Palmer & Jo Scott were one under par after six holes and needed a spark to look at featuring at the end of the day. Thankfully for them, they found it with seven birdies in their last twelve holes to take out third with nett 54.12. The runners up were four under par after eleven holes and had given themselves a good chance and when two consecutive birdies were added they were in sight of victory. Unfortunately, they could only manage one birdie on their last five holes and would have to settle for second with nett 52.12. Well played, Greg Hopper, Annie Tonkin, Christopher Avery & Julie Avery. The winners had the lowest score of the day, a 59 and they were only a 3-ball team! Their round started with a par on the 9th hole and then they played the next ten holes in ten under par, including two eagles. They stumbled with a par and a bogey before they were able to get things back on track with two more birdies and a third eagle to take out the win by more than two shots with nett 50. The on course charity event raised $2,600 for the Coast Shelter and when the extra golf bag was auctioned off another $600 was added to that figure - thanks to all who contributed! Nikki was on the 10th hole with Flightscope - for a collection of swings, please see the video below:

The opportunity to go to the Lexus Melbourne Cup and play The Royal Melbourne Golf Club was drawn at the end of the day and Millar McCowan was the lucky winner. Millar will have the opportunity to attend LANDMARK by Lexus for the running of the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
