2024 Sydney City Lexus Golf Invitational - The Lakes Golf Club - March

The Sydney City Lexus Golf Invitational was held at The Lakes Golf Club under perfect conditions. The course was looking beautiful and with plenty of help, including Lexus Golf Ambassador Dimi Papadatos, low scores would be required to feature at the end of the day.

The third placed team of Jeff Kim, Dawoon Park, Mike Kang & Caroline Kim were off to a steady start with five pars in a row, however, four birdies and an eagle would follow before they made a bogey on their last hole of the day and would have to settle for third with nett 56.25. Just 0.63 ahead were the runners up with nett 55.62. They were off to a fantastic start with a par, birdie and eagle in their first three holes before they came back to reality with a bogey on their fifth hole. Five more birdies and two more bogeys would make the way onto their card before they managed to finish with three pars in a row to take out second place. Well played, Kuang-Yin Chu, Daniel Kwok, Jin Woo Kim & Michael Lee. The winners were one of only two three-ball teams on the day and did a fantastic job with nett 54.83. Like the runners up, they had a great start and were three under after three holes. Two bogeys in a row quickly changed the tone before five more birdies took them into top spot by less than a shot with nett 54.83. The on course charity event raised approximately $5,600 for the Sydney Children's Hospital and when this was matched by Sydney City Lexus, it took the amount over $11,000 - thanks to all who contributed! The opportunity to go to the Lexus Melbourne Cup and play The Royal Melbourne Golf Club was drawn at the end of the day and Gary Cronin was the lucky winner. Gary will have the opportunity to attend LANDMARK by Lexus for the running of the Lexus Melbourne Cup.

The Lexus owners tours is back on after a number of years that were Covid affected. We are looking at a NZ tour later this year and in 2025 will be hosting a group to the US Masters in April as well as Portugal in June.
