2024 LocalAgentFinder Inaugural NSW Golf Day - The Lakes Golf Club

The LocalAgentFinder Inaugural Golf Day was held at The Lakes Golf Club under perfect conditions after the forecasted rain never came to fruition. The course was in great shape and with the lack of wind, scoring was bound to be good and in the end, five teams shot 65 and one team 64!

In third place with nett 53.62 were Peter Shaw, Anthony Robinson, Shane Slater & Chris Palmer who started with three straight pars and showed no signs of shooting the lowest score of the day. Even after twelve holes they were around the middle of the leaderboard on three under par. It wasn't until a run of five birdies in their last six holes that they actually considered a podium finish, when they signed for 64. Just 0.62 in front were the runners up of Zach Carter, Tom Sandy & Jared Zak. Who had an eerily similar round to the third place team, when they were also three under par after twelve holes and needed four birdies in their last six holes to climb up the leaderboard and finish with nett 53. The winning team, like second place, were a three-ball team and once again got off to a slow start to be just one under par after seven holes, including a bogey. However, six birdies would be added to their card over the closing holes allowing them to claim the win by exactly one shot with nett 52.
