2024 Lexus of Springwood Golf Invitational - Links Hope Island

The Lexus of Springwood Golf Invitational was held at Links Hope Island under perfect conditions. The course had dried out from the previous week's rain and good scoring would be required to be on the podium, especially with Lexus Australia Golf Ambassador, Dimi Papadatos helping out.

In the end, the top two scores would have won any of the other Lexus of Brisbane Group days. The third placed team of Dion Cardon-Smith, Lisa Cardon-Smith, Deb Langham & Paul Langham had a fantastic start to be three under after just four holes. However, they could only manage three birdies and also a dreaded bogey in the next twelve holes, until they took full advantage of Dimi's shots on the 8th to make an eagle and finish with nett 54.87. The runners up were over two shots better with nett 52.12 and had a par on their first hole before five straight birdies saw them sit on top of the leaderboard. In the next eight holes they had three more birdies and a bogey and with four holes remaining they could sniff victory, but with no more birdies on the card they would have to settle for second place. Well played, Lina Kim, Gyuchang Lee, KC Yap & Jeff Hwang. The winners won by just under a shot with nett 51.37 and were off to a great start with birdies on their first two holes. They would play the next eleven holes in two under par before some crucial birdies on their finishing holes meant they would take out the win. Congratulations Warren Ormiston (22), Anthony Foster (24), Jae Lee (27) & Eun Jung Lee (36). For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.
