2024 Lexus of Port Macquarie Golf Invitational - Port Macquarie Golf Club
The Lexus of Port Macquarie Golf Invitational was held at the beautiful Port Macquarie Golf Club. The course was in fantastic condition and the weather also played its part, meaning the guests would be in for a great day.
In the end, it was very close, with the winning team taking out victory by just one shot. The third placed team of Pauline Hurst, Dennis Hurst, Garry Hamilton & Ian Thomson had two birdies in their first five holes and were off to a great start. Unfortunately, the birdies dried up for the rest of the round and they even recorded a bogey on one hole and would have to settle for third place with nett 60.25. Almost two shots better in second place with nett 58.37 were the team of Rod Wilkes, Roy Moller, Peter Ross & Lloyd Beeby. They started with an early birdie but then quickly followed that up with a bogey before an amazing run of eagle, birdie, par, birdie saw them rocket up the leader board. However, thoughts of a victory disappeared when they only managed to play their last ten holes in one over par. The winners had the lowest score of the day, a fantastic 66 and had a great start with birdies on their first two holes. A bogey did eventually find its way onto their card, but four more birdies allowed them to finish one shot ahead with nett 57.37. Congratulations Nicholas Kosseris (21), Amos Frankel (15), Darran Stephen (24) & Kieran Proberts (9). For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.
