2024 Lexus of Central West Golf Invitational - Dubbo Golf Club

The Lexus of Central West Golf Invitational was held in perfect conditions at Dubbo Golf Club. The course was in fantastic shape and scores would have to be low to feature at the end of the day.

In the end, four teams shot 64 or better and it would come down to handicaps to separate them. The third placed team of Brian Kinsey, Helen Kinsey, Rosie Bartlett & Ian Collins were four under after eight holes and managed three more birdies on the remaining holes to finish with nett 55.87. Just 0.37 of a shot ahead with nett 55.5 were the runner up team of Ronda Lew, Sam Fitzgerald, Andrew Carberry & Chris Davis. They had a steady start to be three under par after nine holes before a dreaded bogey appeared. Thankfully, they found a couple more birdies on the way in and managed to squeeze into second place. The winners had the equal lowest score of the day, a fantastic 63 that included eight birdies and no bogeys. With five holes to play they were well placed, but it was a crucial three birdies that took them to the top of the leaderboard with nett 53.62 to win by just under two shots. The Lexus Melbourne Cup and was drawn at the beautiful Lazy River Estate and Margo and Andrew Carberry were the lucky winners. They will have an opportunity to play golf at Royal Melbourne and attend LANDMARK by Lexus for the running of the Lexus Melbourne Cup.

The Lexus owners tours is back on after a number of years that were Covid affected. We are looking at a NZ tour later this year and in 2025 will be hosting a group to the US Masters in April as well as Portugal in June.
