2024 Lexus of Canberra Golf Invitational - Royal Canberra Golf Club

The Lexus of Canberra Golf Invitational was held at Royal Canberra Golf Club under perfect conditions. The course was looking beautiful and with plenty of help on course, including Lexus Golf Ambassador, Dimi Papadatos, low scores would be required to feature at the end of the day.

In the end, two teams shot 62 and another two 61 - it is no surprise that these teams would feature heavily at presentation time. The third placed team of Steve Mahar, John Boulous, Andy Sell & Brett Grocott were off to a great start with six straight birdies. Things didn't slow down much as with three birdies in their next four holes to be a crazy nine under after ten holes! Unfortunately for them, they could only manage two more birdies in their remaining seven holes and would have to settle for third with nett 53.5. The runners up had a mixed round and were well off the lead at three under through eleven holes until five birdies in a row rocketed them up the leaderboard to finish with nett 53.25. Well played, Valerio Galeotti, Marco Galeotti, Tony Pratezina & Christian Pratezina. The winners had the equal lowest score of the day, an incredible eleven under par. After a par on their first hole they rattled off four birdies and finished out their first nine holes at six under par. Another five birdies on their final nine holes was good enough to take out the win by exactly one shot with nett 52.25. Congratulations Ivan Milanovic (7), Eddie Laco (27), Andy Rakic (17) & Antony Kelava (19). For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.
