2024 Lexus of Chatswood Golf Invitational - Terrey Hills - Tuesday 4th June

The Lexus of Chatswood Golf Invitational was held at Terrey Hills Golf & Country Club and dry conditions would greet the guests after heavy rain the preceding days. The soft conditions made going tough, although one team managed to defy the odds and shoot a fantastic 64.

The third placed team of Andrew Park, Joo Ae Lee, James Hyun & Miri Yoo started with three pars and then three birdies to move them quickly up the leaderboard. Unfortunately for them, they could only manage one more birdie in the remaining twelve holes and would have to settle for third place with nett 57.12. Just 0.62 ahead were the runners up with nett 56.5. They had a slow start and were only one under par after eleven holes. Thankfully, they recorded three birdies on the way home and even a late bogey couldn't take them off the podium. Well played, Henry Perera, Janette Perera, Peter Hudson & Doug Griffiths. The winners shot the lowest score of the day by two shots and combined beautifully to record eight birdies on there way around the challenging course. That said, when handicaps came into account the won by less than a shot with nett 55.75. Congratulations Michael MacQuillan (7), Brendan Murphy (14), Jim Walsh (27) & Daniel Dollow (18). The on course charity event and raffle raised in excess of $5,000 for Tour de Cure - thanks to all who contributed! Geraldine was on the 1st hole with Flightscope - for a collection of swings, please see the video below:

The opportunity to go to the Lexus Melbourne Cup and play The Royal Melbourne Golf Club was drawn at the end of the day and Richard Ferguson was the lucky winner. Richard will have the opportunity to attend LANDMARK by Lexus for the running of the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
