2024 Lexus of Blackburn Golf Invitational - Royal Melbourne - 4th March

The Lexus of Blackburn Golf Invitational was held at the number one course in the country, Royal Melbourne. The course was in fantastic condition and the weather also played its part, meaning the guests would be in for a great day. Special thanks to Eddie Maguire, Sarah Jones & Mark Allen the Lexus of Blackburn Ambassadors who entertained us over lunch and in Mark's case, gave three owners a great day on the course.

In the end, one team took out the win by just over two shots. The third placed team of Juxiang Pan, Wenjun Zhou, Aaron Zhao & Anselm Chang had a great start and were four under par after six holes. Unfortunately, they could only manage another two birdies for the rest of the round and would have to settle for third with nett 56.87. Just 0.12 shots ahead with nett 56.75 were the runner up team of Giho Kim, Manh Hung Ho, Benjamin Ng & Phuong Nguyen. They started with four pars before something clicked and they had five straight birdies to rocket up the leader board. However, their round slowed again and they would play their last nine holes in one over par. The winners had the lowest score of the day, a fantastic 65 and had a great start with a par, eagle and birdie in their first three holes. Reality would strike on the next hole with a bogey, but four more birdies and another eagle later in the round would mean they took out the win with an impressive net 54.62. Congratulations Mark Allen (+2), Matt Hyatt (17), Wilma Smale (32) & Karen Ding (36). For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.
