2024 Lexus of Maroochydore Golf Invitational - Twin Waters Golf Club

The Lexus of Maroochydore Golf Invitational was held at Twin Waters Golf Club under perfect conditions. The course was in fantastic shape, meaning good scores would be required to make it onto the podium.

In the end, one team took out the win by exactly one shot. The third placed team of Leah Lynn, Jonathan Broadbent, Lorraine Ferguson & Wayne Ferguson had a steady start with twelve straight pars. With six holes to play it was obvious that some birdies would be required if they were to have any chance and as luck would have it, they managed to find three birdies on their way in to finish with nett 58.12. The runner up team were just 0.5 shots better with nett 57.62. They had a rough start and were one over par after two holes. Three birdies would eventually make their way onto the card, including a crucial birdie on their very last hole. Well played, Barry O'Brien, David Sinclair, Linda Grams & Mark Penberthy. The winners had a fantastic 67, but like the runners up were one over par after two holes. Another bogey was recorded later in the round but when you couple that with seven birdies it is easy to see how they took out the win with an impressive nett 56.62. Congratulations Russell Peck (15), Nia van der Plas (24), Damien Nicholson (26) & Anh Pham (18). For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.
