2023 Lexus of Wodonga Golf Invitational - Commercial Club, Albury

The Lexus of Wodonga Golf Invitational was held at the Commercial Golf Club, Albury under perfect conditions. The course was in fantastic shape as usual and low scores would be the order of the day.

The third placed team of Ray Mack, Ross Hillary, Howard Sharp & John Barfoot were off to a slow start and were one over par after three holes. Thankfully for them, eight birdies and a generous donation on the charity hole would see them jump up the leaderboard and finish with nett 56.12. The runners up were just 0.12 short of the winning score with nett 54.87 and were the only team in the field to play the entire 18 holes without a bogey. Their round consisted of six birdies and a hole in one on the charity hole, but with victory in sight they could only par their last hole. Well played, Renae Pitargue, Edward Pitargue, Casey Gamble & Jo Whitehead. The winners had two bogeys during their round, but a number of birdies more than offset the bogeys. With the scores being so close, it came down to the last hole and they managed to make a birdie to finish just ahead on nett 54.75. Congratulations Caron Stiler, Daniel Stiler, Shaun Graef & Rohan O'Neill. For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.

The on course charity event raised $2,400 for the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre - thanks to all who contributed. This was topped up with some additional donations at Yardbird. Flightscope was on the 9th hole - for a collection of swings, please see the video below:

Thirteen guests also took part in the beginner golf lessons - congratulations to the following winners:
