2023 Lexus of Sutherland Golf Invitational - Port Kembla

The Lexus of Sutherland Golf Invitational was held at Port Kembla Golf Club under fine conditions. The course, but in particular, the greens were presented beautifully allowing one team to shoot a fantastic 61!

The third placed team of Andrew Knigge, Michael Vassallo, Craig Holland & Paul Shoobert had the second lowest score of the day with nine birdies and nine pars to record nett 54.12. In contrast, the runners up were off to a slow start with just two birdies in their first nine holes. Four birdies and an eagle in their next eight holes shot them up the leaderboard into second place with nett 53.12. Well played Bruce Crosby, Colin Macdonald, Gregory Paul & Laurence Watson. The winners did it in style and shot the lowest score of the day. They had a great start to be five under through just six holes and things didn't slow down for the entire round as they went on to shoot eleven under par and finish with nett 53. The opportunity to attend LANDMARK by Lexus for the running of the Lexus Melbourne Cup was won by Gregory Paul. Gregory will also have the chance to play the number one golf course in the country, The Royal Melbourne Golf Club the day prior to the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
