2023 Lexus of Chatswood Golf Invitational - Terrey Hills Golf & Country Club - 4th May

The first of three Lexus of Chatswood Golf Invitationals was held at Terrey Hills Golf & Country Club. The course was in great condition and the weather played its part as well, putting on a perfect day for the guests. Low scores would be the order of the day if teams managed to cope with the quick greens and hole some putts.

The winners separated themselves from the field by over a three shots after shooting the lowest score of the day...but more about their round later! The third placed team of Tony Tang, Min Wang, Stuart Macdermid & David Shnider were one under par after six holes and moving along steadily, until a burst of five birdies in seven holes would shoot them up the leader board. Unfortunately for them, they couldn't improve their score on the last five holes and would have to settle for third place with nett 56.25, losing on a count back to the runners up. That second place team had a great start with two straight birdies. Three more birdies and an eagle were added to their card until they reached their last hole and had their only bogey of the day. Thankfully it didn't effect their place in the field and they would hang on for second place on a count back with nett 56.25. Well played, Andy Ludvik, Judy Ludvik, David Brown & Suzanne Brown. The winners had an extraordinary start with four birdies in a row. Some pars followed before two more birdies in a row and then later in the round three more birdies in a row to finish with 63 and take out the win comfortably with nett 53.12. Congratulations Richard Lutze (27), Ben Lutze (17), Seamus Dalton (11) & John Tyrrell (24). For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.
