2023 Lexus of Chatswood Golf Invitational - Terrey Hills Golf & Country Club - 11th May
The second of three Lexus of Chatswood Golf Invitationals was held at Terrey Hills Golf & Country Club. Again, the course was in great condition and the weather played its part as well, putting on a perfect day for the guests. Low scores would be the order of the day if teams managed to cope with the quick greens and hole some putts.
The winners separated themselves from the field by over a three shots after breaking the magic 50 barrier...but more about their round later! The third placed team of Alice Lim, Leonard Leung, Andrew Stannard and Nina Stannard had a tough start when they made a bogey on their second hole of the day. Thankfully for them, it would be the last bogey and eight birdies would follow to give them a nett score of 53, just 0.13 short of second place. The runners up had a mixed start with a birdie, par and bogey in their first three holes. Things quickly changed when they then rattled off three straight birdies to be on their way to a great score of 52.87. Well played, Yue Liu, Jing Han, Janek Patel & Renuka Patel. The winners had a steady start with four straight pars and nothing was pointing towards a victory at that stage. However, nine birdies over their remaining fourteen holes was enough to shoot them up the leader board and take out the win by more than three shots with nett 49.75. Congratulations Alex Deligianis, Antonio Gabrielli, Carlo Iannacito & Peter Smith. For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.
