2023 Lexus of Brighton Golf Invitational - Metropolitan Golf Club

The Lexus of Brighton Golf Invitational was held at The Metropolitan Golf Club under perfect conditions. The course was in fantastic shape as usual and low scores would be the order of the day.

The third placed team of Daniel Tai, Michelle Bui, Irwin Hau & Huy Bui were off to a great start with two birdies in their first four holes. Things then took a turn for the worse with two bogeys in close succession before they were able to move back up the leader board with a generous donation on the charity hole. Two more birdies and importantly, no more bogeys saw them take out third place with nett 56.62. The runners up were one of only two groups in the field to play the entire 18 holes without a bogey. However, they were only one under after nine holes and needed a strong finish to contend. Five under the last nine certainly was a strong finish and gave them nett 55.37. Well played, Jasmine Shih, Wei Chen, Jinhuan Chi & Chi Chan. The winners were exactly one shot ahead of second place with nett 54.37, but with three holes to play, first place was still up for grabs and they needed three under par for their last three holes to take the victory and also shoot the lowest score of the day, a 65. Congratulations James Klein (8), Douglas Klein (27), Jennifer Poon (36) & Mike Williams (14). For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.
