2023 Lexus of Berwick Golf Invitational - Peninsula Kingswood Country Club

The Lexus of Berwick Golf Invitational was held at the beautiful Peninsula Kingswood Country Club. The guests were treated to good conditions for most of the day, although the odd shower did pass over a couple of times.

Scores were incredibly close, with just 0.75 of a shot separating the top three teams. The third placed team of Anthony Gale, Stephen Hoppe, Brett Ryan & Robert Wrightson were off to a terrible start with a bogey on their first hole of the day! That would prove to be their only hiccup on what would be a great round as they put together eleven birdies and a hole in one on the charity hole to finish with nett 52.62. The runners up had a great start and were three under after six holes. But the best was yet to come as they played their next three holes in five under par to rocket up the leader board. Unfortunately for them, their momentum slowed and they could only manage three birdies on their last nine holes and would have to settle with second place on nett 52.25. Well played, Jarred Cahill, Mark Davies, Paul McEvoy & Jeremy Toeng. The winners had the equal lowest score of the day, an incredible 60! Like the runners up, they had a good start to be two under par through four holes, but then an incredible run of birdie, eagle, birdie, birdie, eagle, birdie set the other teams on notice. In the end, they could only manage another two birdies to finish their round but it was enough to sneak over the line by 0.37 of a shot with nett 51.87. Congratulations Daniel Molan (3), Joe Ozzimo (17), Victor Villella (21) & Om Vududala (24). For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.
