2023 Melbourne City Lexus Golf Invitational - The Eastern Golf Club

The Melbourne City Lexus Golf Invitational was held at The Eastern Golf Club. Some heavy rain the days prior scared a few guests off, but those who attended were treated to a day without rain and all in all relatively good conditions.

In the end, one team ran away with the victory by just over two shots. The third placed team of Vien Hou, Minh Hou, Alan Seedsman & Chris Lunnay had an indifferent start with a bogey on their very first hole! Thankfully for them, that would be their only bogey of the day and they would go on to record six birdies to finish with nett 59.12. In contrast, the runners up had a birdie on their first hole of the day, but would have to wait another seven holes for their second. Four more birdies woudl follow, but a bogey near the end of their round slowed the momentum and they would have to settle for second with nett 57.87. Well played, Ralph Colasante, Michael Colasante, Paul Bonnici & Ray Bonnici. The winners had a great start to be four under par through eight holes. Things then took a turn and they would play their next eight holes in two over par before taking advantage of the charity hole to move them up the leader board once again and secure victory by over two shots with nett 55.62. Congratulations Lionel Karp (27), Phillip Clarke (18), Kylie Wilson (27) & Julian Pienkos (27). For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.
