2022 Lexus of Toowoomba Golf Invitational - Toowoomba Golf Club

The Lexus of Toowoomba Golf Invitational was held at Toowoomba Golf Club, Middle Ridge. After a cool start the day, guests were treated to a perfect day for golf and with lots of assistance on course, scores were bound to be good!

The top three teams separated themselves from the rest of the field with some great scoring. The third placed team of John Gourlay, John Suttor, Peter McGrath & Stuart Navin were off to a less than impressive start when they were one over par after three holes. Thankfully for them, there were no more bogeys and six birdies followed, including a birdie, birdie finish to record nett 53.87. The runners up shot the lowest score of the day by four shots with a 59, but still that wasn't good enough and they would have to settle for second with nett 53. Their round included an incredible stretch where they went nine under par for ten holes! Well played, Brett Searston, Paul Morrow, Ben George & Alan George. The winners had the highest handicap in the field and had to ensure they kept in the game as long as possible. They were off to a steady start to be one under par through fourteen holes, but four under the last four holes shot them up the leader board to take the victory by half a shot with nett 52.5. Congratulations Linda Ryan (35), Margaret Alcorn (36), Peter Betros (18) & Geoff Betros (11). For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.
