2022 Lexus of Parramatta Golf Invitational - Friday 21st October

The Lexus of Parramatta Golf Invitational was held at Pennant Hills Golf Club under threatening skies. Despite the occasional heavy shower, guests were treated to a pleasant day for golf. The course was presented beautifully and good scores would be required to take out the win, especially with three golf professionals on course and Ashleigh on the 1st hole.

In the end, one team separated themselves from the rest of the field and took out the win by just over three shots. The battle between second and third, however, was much closer with only 0.38 of a shot between them. The third placed team of Lauren Shen, Patrick Zhang, Jason Choi & David Kim started on the charity hole and were quickly on top of the leader board after their generous donation gave them a hole in one. Things slowed up for a while and their next notable score was a bogey. Thankfully, five birdies would follow and they would finish with nett 55.75. The runners up were slow out of the blocks and after nine holes were only one under par. A strong finish included five birdies and a hole in one on the charity hole to to rocket them up the leader board with nett 55.37. Well played Dan Hinkson, Cameron Sinclair, Brad Breytenbach & Stuart Ritchie. The winners did it in style and shot the lowest score of the day. A quick start allowed them to be six under after six holes, but things would slow up after that and they could only manage three more birdies for the rest of the round. Still, they had done enough to take out the victory with nett 52.25. Congratulations Lara Flaviano (27), Rocky Flaviano (24), Fadi Sabbagh (11) & Buddwi Zaouk (16).
