2022 Lexus of Central Coast Golf & Tennis Invitational - Kooindah Waters
The Lexus of Central Coast Golf & Tennis Invitational was held at Kooindah Waters Golf Club. After heavy rain the day before, we were treated to beautiful weather, albeit very wet underfoot for the golfers.
Scoring was bound to be good with Dimi Papadatos (Lexus Golf Ambassador) and three other golf pros assisting on course. The third placed team of Adam Mead, Darren Welsh, Sanjeev Mehta & Graham Muller started slowly with five straight pars. Two birdies would follow in the next three holes but then they had an incredible run of birdie, eagle, birdie, birdie to rocket them up the leader board into third place with nett 53.75. The identical score of 53.75 was recorded by the runners up and they were lucky to get over the line on a count back. Their round started well with some early birdies but then on their 5th hole (the 9th) they made their only bogey of the day to slow momentum. Luckily for them, two birdies and two eagles would follow and allow them to shoot 65. Well played, Trevor McMullen, Stephen Holmes, Brian White & John Quinlan. The winners were off to a great start with a birdie on their first hole. This was followed by three more birdies and a hole in one on the charity hole that allowed them to win by just over a shot with nett 52.25. Congratulations Kay Walker (36), Maria McGann (36), David Manson (q5) & Wayne Cassidy (23). For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.
