2021 Lexus of Chatswood Golf Invitational - Terrey Hills - 13th May

The Lexus of Chatswood Golf Invitational was held under beautiful conditions at Terrey Hills Golf & Country Club. Just under 80 golfers took on the 18 hole event and an additional 10 guests enjoyed the inaugural Par 3 challenge. 

Terrey Hills was in fantastic condition and that lead to some great scores, with the difference between the top two teams being just 0.25 of a shot. In third place was the team of Jeffrey Huang, Keky Qie, Hyo Chang & Chul Chang who had an up and down round with five birdies, three bogeys and an eagle to finish with nett 56.25. The unlucky runners up had a great round and were eight under par through fifteen holes, but unfortunately could not manage another birdie and would have to settle for second place. Well played, Henry Lee, Alfred Lam, John Gale & John Leathard who had nett 54.75. The winners didn't have it all their way with two bogeys during the round, but five birdies in their last eight holes allowed them to take top spot with nett 54.5. Money was raised for Tour de Cure on course and in the clubhouse via the draw for the set of Piranha irons. Thank you to all who contributed in raising in excess of $2,700.

Ten guests also enjoyed the Terrey Hills Par 3 course less than ten minutes away and had their first introduction to Ambrose. The Par 3 course is a perfect way to transition to the full blown event and all the guests thoroughly enjoyed the experience. In the end, two teams finished with the same score and a count back was required. See below for the results.

The opportunity for one Lexus owner to attend the Lexus Melbourne Cup was drawn at the end of the day. Congratulations to Virginia Biancardi, who will have the opportunity to play The Royal Melbourne Golf Club followed by a day at the races in the Lexus Design Pavilion (LANDMARK by Lexus) for the running of the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
