ANZ Victoria Institutional Golf Day 2018 - The Metropolitan Golf Club

A beautiful spring day greeted the ANZ Victorian Institutional guests at Metropolitan Golf Club. A number of guests warmed up on the driving range and a select few warmed up within the confines of the Clubhouse.

The traditional putting competition was won by Andrew McDonald and another of member of his team (Ben Sington) was in the final. No doubt, big hopes were on their team when the guests headed out for the start of the round.

In what turned out to be one of the closest finishes ever at an ANZ event, three teams finished within 0.16 of a shot and the winners and runners up had to be separated on a count back. The Low Gross winners shot a fine round of 64 and must be commended on their efforts as they were only a three-ball team. Well done to Matt Amor (21), James Chisholm (21) & Justin Carroll (2). The unfortunate team to loose on a count back with a nett 56.5 were Yehudi Collard (21), Blair Crouch (5), Tim McCann (21) & Ryan Pritchard (21) - commiserations gents! So, our winners with a one shot better back nine were Tim Wood (21), Darren Pasco (15), Roy Keenan (9) & Rob Reilly (15).
