2022 Lexus of Central West Golf Invitational - Dubbo Golf Club - Sunday 15th May

The Lexus of Central West Golf Invitational was held at a wet and soggy Dubbo Golf Club. Unfortunately the course condition meant that carts were not allowed and this was the only thing that held back record numbers at the event. With the soft conditions and all guests walking, speed of play was slower than usual, but that didn't stop some amazing scores from the teams, including an incredible 25 on the back nine from Nathan Peckham, Dan Harper & Elton Keeffe.

In the end, one group ran away with the victory by more than two shots, but it was much closer between the runners up and third place. The third placed team must be ruing their slow start when they were one over par after seven holes. Thankfully for them, things improved rapidly and they went eight under par for their last eleven holes to finish with nett 52.62. Well played, Clint Grose, Nicole Grose, Anthony Murphy & Mick Martin. The runners up were just 0.62 of a shot better with nett 52. They found themselves in a very similar situation to the third placed team when they were one over after five holes. However, nine birdies and an eagle tends to get you moving towards the top of the leaderboard and that is exactly what they did to finish their round with 61 strokes. Well done to Kylie Sutherland, Michael Sutherland, Christine Reardon & Robert Reardon. The winners had a steady round that included seven birdies and an eagle (on the charity hole). Even a bogey on the 9th wouldn't hurt their chances of winning with nett 49.87. Congratulations Janette Read (36), Phil Read (12), Tony Burgun (21) & Karyn Burgun (36). For the full results from the day, please click on the button below - 'Download All Results'.
