2022 Lexus of Brighton Ladies Day Out - Yarra Yarra

After a couple of years hampered by Covid, the Lexus of Brighton Ladies' Day Out was back at Yarra Yarra Golf Club. The course was looking beautiful and the weather played its part to ensure the guests had a wonderful time. Scoring was very competitive with six teams finishing within three shots of the leaders. A count back was required to determine third place when two teams finished with nett 30. The eventual winners, Itka Markman, Marlene Cohen, Cherryl Houben & Jasmine Shih started slowly to be two over par after four holes. Thankfully, a strong finish with four pars and a birdie got them over the line.  The runners up were one shot clear with nett 29 and after a bogey on their first hole, they managed to play the remaining holes in two under par. Well done, Anna Puchalski, Jane Neale, Sue Simon & Maya Lee. The winners had a great round and finished just under a shot ahead of their closest rival with nett 28.12. They managed to shoot the lowest score of the day (2 under) and were the only team to complete the 9 holes without a bogey. Congratulations Lyn Mallett (31), Loiee Skelley (32), Milena Black (19) & Sue Kazenwadel (13).
