2021 Lexus of Macarthur Golf Invitational - New South Wales Golf Club

The Lexus of Macarthur Golf Invitational was held at the beautiful New South Golf Club under the threat of rain that never quite eventuated. The spectacular course was extremely well presented and two teams managed to shoot the great score of 65.

In the end, scoring was extremely tight with four teams within a shot of the winning score. In fact, the third placed team needed a count back to secure their place with nett 56.62. The team of David Goode, Mike Scott, Craig Humphreys & Ethan Humphries had a fantastic start to be three under after six holes, but sadly for them, they could not better that score for the rest of the round and would have to settle for third place. The runners started slowly with four straight pars until things got exciting on the 12th hole when they made an eagle. This was clearly a motivation and they went on to score five birdies and no bogeys to finish with nett 56.12. Well played, Shane Strong, Rami Hatem, Peter Bunga & Frank Krzysik. The winners also had a bogey free round - that thrown in with two eagles and three birdies was enough to take the win by half a shot with nett 55.62. Congratulations to Anthony Siciliano (18), Natalie Matic (27), Craig Noone (18) & Nick Suman (12).

$1,875 was raised for the Mater Dei School, Camden via the on course charity event on the 6th hole. Six guests also enjoyed the beginner golf lessons with the local golf professional. Congratulations to the following winners:
