2021 Lexus of Chatswood Golf Invitational - Terrey Hills - 20th May

The Lexus of Chatswood Golf Invitational was held under beautiful conditions at Terrey Hills Golf & Country Club. Just over 100 golfers took on the 18 hole event and with all the assistance on course, scoring was bound to be good. 

In the end, the difference between the top four teams was just 0.75 of a shot. In third place was the three ball team of Tony Piper, Geraldine Piper & Paul Mahony who shot 63 - the lowest score of the day. Unfortunately for them, their late run of four birdies stopped with a par at their last hole to finish with nett 55.67. Only 0.17 in front were Matt Quilter, Luke Jones, Shaun Wickenden & Blake Wickenden after they had a steady round with no bogeys and seven birdies to finish runners up with nett 55.5. The winners had a steady start and were two under par through nine holes, but three birdies and an eagle on the way home shot them up the leaderboard to first place. Money was raised for Tour de Cure on course and in the clubhouse via the draw for the set of Piranha irons. Thank you to all who contributed in raising in excess of $4,000.

The opportunity for one Lexus owner to attend the Lexus Melbourne Cup was drawn at the end of the day. Congratulations to Trish Simper, who will have the opportunity to play The Royal Melbourne Golf Club followed by a day at the races in the Lexus Design Pavilion (LANDMARK by Lexus) for the running of the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
