2021 Lexus of Darwin Golf Invitational - Darwin Golf Club - Friday 25th June

The Lexus of Darwin Golf Invitational was held under beautiful conditions with a moderate breeze making scoring challenging on the into-the-wind holes. In the end, three teams would post 65 and it would come down to the handicap differences to separate them.

In third place was the team of Steve Harris, Joe Mullen, Dave Page & Alex Julius who had a steady round with two birdies on the front nine and four on the back nine to finish with nett 56.25. The runners up, in contrast were one over par through nine holes but managed six birdies on their final nine to race up the leaderboard with nett 56. Well played Marty Duggan, Brad Clark, Cameron McGill & Rory Turner. The winners didn't have it all their way and were also one over par early in their round. Thankfully, a stretch of eight birdies in eleven holes was enough to take out victory by less than a shot when they finished with nett 55.12. $1,595 was raised for NT Junior Golf on course. But at the completion of golf Tailor-made Building Services added $1,500 more and Lexus of Darwin $1,595 more, taking the final amount raised to $4,690. Thank you to all who contributed!

The opportunity for one Lexus owner to attend the Lexus Melbourne Cup was drawn at the end of the day. Congratulations to Rosemary Campbell, who will have the opportunity to play The Royal Melbourne Golf Club followed by a day at the races in the Lexus Design Pavilion (LANDMARK by Lexus) for the running of the Lexus Melbourne Cup.
