Lexus of Port Macquarie Golf Invitational 2018 - Port Macquarie Golf Club

The Lexus of Port Macquarie Golf Invitational took place under beautiful clear skies at the Port Macquarie Golf Club. Many of the guests arrived early in anticipation of the big day ahead, but in the end it was one team that stamped their authority on the event and ran away with the win by four shots. 

Even though one team won by four shots, the extraordinary thing was that the other five teams all finished within 0.625 of each other. Making it the closest finish for the runner up ever at a Lexus event. Just sneaking into that runner up slot were Craig Allport, Darren Stephen, Ben Ferris & Matt Smith who finished with a nett 55.375. Our winners had the lowest score of the day, posting just 60 shots after a birdie blitz mid-way through their round. Congratulations to Michael Pring (6), Tony Antolic (18), James Smith (22) & Rosalind Smith (23) who had a nett 51.375. 

Thanks to the very generous Lexus of Port Macquarie owners, we managed to raise $660 for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation. It was great to have CEO, Ian Brown on hand to accept the funds. Thanks also to Michael Pring who kindly donated his winning prize to be auctioned off and thanks also to David Anderson for purchasing it!

Russell Peck was the lucky winner of the Lexus Melbourne Cup Experience and he didn't even have to hit a shot. Congratulations Russell and thanks for being a part of the event.
